Assistant Accountant

Your new company One of northern Ireland's biggest and most successful food production companies are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant.

Your new role Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for accounting tasks and routine finance functions whilst supporting the Senior Management Team.
* Take responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations to year end standard and within reporting deadlines for company accountant;* Carry out variance analysis v budget and investigate/explain variances;* Preparation of KPI reports on a weekly and monthly basis;* Assist with the preparation of monthly projections and annual budgets;* Responsibility for compliance (VAT & statutory returns);* Assist development & implementation of Management Information Systems and financial IT systems.
