Assistant Cost Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Cost Manager to join our client, a leading consultancy specialising in residential projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to take the lead on high-profile residential developments, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans, ensuring accuracy and feasibility in line with client requirements.Procurement: Manage procurement processes, including tender preparation and evaluation, contract negotiation, and supplier management.Cost Control: Monitor project costs, conduct regular cost reporting, and ensure effective cost control measures are in place.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, providing strategic advice to stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Qualifications and Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. RICS membership preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong background in residential projects.Skills: Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
