We are Hiring  Assistant Director of Nursing  in  a leading hospital in Dublin, Ireland.  (  Permanent / Full-time) Key Responsibilities Assume accountability for overseeing all nurse services for your designated areas for a full day, and make sure the necessary processes are in place to support this accountability.
Report any noteworthy developments in the DON's or CEO's domain of authority, and carry out any extra tasks that might occasionally be allocated.
As a member of the Senior Nursing Executive, take part in the planning and implementation of the service's plans.
Respect and abide by the rules pertaining to health and safety as well as hospital policies and procedures.
As needed, take part in committee, team, and meeting activities.
Know all of the ward-level health and safety policies, in particular Although the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) report directly to the Director of Nursing and bears professional accountability to him or her, the ADON will collaborate closely with senior managers, department heads, medical staff, committees, and senior nursing executives to ensure the seamless operation of the service.
Requirements Be registered in the general division of the live Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or be entitled to be so registered.
Have at least 7 years recent post-registration nursing experience, with 3 years nursing management experience at a minimum of CNM2 grade.
Possess a post graduate qualification at not less than level 8 on the NFQ framework in the area of healthcare or management related area.
Candidates must possess the requisite clinical, leadership, managerial and administrative knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the office.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
