FRS Recruitment are recruiting for a Assistant Financial Controller for our client located in Enfield Co Meath.

Our client are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Financial Controller to join their team and contribute to their growing success.
What You'll Do As an integral part of the finance team, you will: Collaborate with senior management to prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts , budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
Coordinate month-end processes , including billing files and customer statements.
Ensure accuracy by preparing bank reconciliations and maintaining the fixed asset register .
Manage and oversee motor fleet compliance and monthly contract payments.
Support accounts payable and receivable functions when required.
Take ownership of stock management , reconciling inventory and ensuring optimal flow.
Contribute to the preparation of board packs , quarterly sales reports , and presentations for senior leadership.
Provide critical support for annual audits and generate insightful ad hoc reports.
Work closely with the Financial Controller and COO to drive financial excellence.
What We're Looking For To thrive in this role, you'll need: A qualified accountant certification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate to advanced).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
A team-player mindset, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Adaptability to learn new systems and tasks quickly.
A background or interest in the agri-sector is a plus but not essential.
