Position: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager Responsible to: Food & Beverage Manager Key Responsibilities: Assist the F&B Manager to ensure smooth running of the Food and Beverage departments To ensure delivery of service excellence Ensure that all guests are greeted in a warm and courteous fashion and tended to in a professional manner by every team member Maintain a presence in the F&B areas particularly during peak periods To be ensure all guest requests are met in relation to groups, regulars, dietary requirements etc Assist in preparation of weekly rosters for the F&B Team To always be familiar with product offering (i.e.
the menu, specials and ingredients, beverages on offer, wine list, etc) Ensure that all Food and Beverage products are served efficiently and in accordance with the company standard of presentation Ensure all Food and Beverage outlets are properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service Carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with the cashiering policy To maximize all sales opportunities and to promote a selling environment throughout the department ensuring that sales targets are met To promote good team relations in the department ensuring fairness and consistency in all dealing with team members To assist in recruitment and selection the F&B Team To manage performance of the team in line with company policy Assist with Stock Control To ensure that all goods purchases are verified, documented and stored in an efficient manner.
