Assistant Night Manager

Our client, a renowned luxury hotel in Galway, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Night Manager to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel during the night hours, providing exceptional service to guests and supporting the Night Manager in overseeing night operations.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Night Manager in overseeing all night operations, ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of guests.
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
Address and resolve guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including the lobby, corridors, and other facilities.
Conduct regular security checks throughout the property to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Prepare daily reports and assist with night audits, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to address any issues that arise during the night.
Supervise and support night staff, ensuring they provide the highest level of service.
Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment is preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on providing outstanding guest service.
Proficiency in hotel management software and front office systems.
Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
