We are hiring an  Assistant   Person in charge  of our Nursing Home in Co Tipperary .  This job is for someone who wants to join a busy and well-established nursing home group.
The Director of Nursing will play a key role in leading our nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities Following pertinent health laws and standards and serving as the PIC if the Person in Charge is not present.
Helping the PIC oversee the Nursing Home's administration, structure, and activities Providing clinical supervision and guidance to employees to improve morale and standards establishing and preserving a home where occupants experience support and value preventing abuse and neglect of the elderly and properly reporting concerns ensuring sufficient staffing numbers to enable efficient operations and the provision of high-quality care assisting nursing professionals in the planning and execution of care Willingness to work weekends, nights, and days as needed Requirements Nursing Degree at the Third Level Having an active PIN and being registered with An Bord Altranais legitimate qualifications in pertinent fields, like medicine administration, manual handling, infection control, etc.
Post-registration certification in healthcare administration or a comparable field (or readiness to participate in training) It is preferable to have post-registration training in gerontology or dementia care.
Proficiency & Experience six years at least after registering as a nurse two years at least of experience working in a nursing home A minimum of one year's managerial experience is desirable.
