The Assistant Process Technician supports process operations by maintaining optimal manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, troubleshooting issues, and providing general assistance in the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of production equipment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in operating, monitoring, and adjusting machinery to maintain optimal production output and efficiency.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on process equipment to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime.
Support senior technicians in troubleshooting mechanical, operational, or process-related issues.
Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Monitor and document production data, including process conditions, output levels, and product quality.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Handle and transport materials as required, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and provide timely reports to supervisors.
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth production flow and resolve issues promptly.
Assist in equipment setup and calibration for new product runs or changeovers.
Qualifications and Skills: Experience: [0-2] years of experience in a plastic production or extrusion is advantageous but not always required.
