You'll be responsible for: Managing directly, and in certain circumstances liaising with others in the management of and engagement with a set of stakeholders, etc.
to ensure project timescales are met.
Supporting the management of construction project design, estimation, and project planning including all relevant statutory processes, procurement management, and maintenance forecasting.
Assisting the project control, including resourcing and service delivery requirements, ensuring consultant supervision where relevant, and approving all payment certificates including to local authorities.
Helping the management of the production and approval of project delivery plans, contractor plans, cash flow projections, and earned value analysis.
Supporting the day-to-day management of construction service providers for projects, including conformance and compliance.
Giving input into the ongoing development of new templates, documents, systems and processes for project/programme management to incorporate lessons learned and efficiencies.
Handling any other duties delegated by the senior project manager or project management team.
You'll need to have: A relevant third-level qualification preferably in engineering or a related project management discipline.
Experience in managing large or multiple infrastructure/capital projects (ideally in the water utility).
Strong knowledge and experience of project management, contract management, strategic planning, methodologies, and construction delivery best practice.
Experience in dealing with local authorities in Ireland particularly but not essential in dealing with road opening licences.
You'll also have: Strong business acumen with a financial perspective at the forefront and experience using project, programme, and financial management tools such as Oracle.
Strong computer skills and use of Microsoft package.
Proven track record dealing with issues, proactively and in a timely fashion, along with the ability to communicate complex information to all stakeholders.
Systems experience - i.e.
Maximo, Oracle, GIS< MRL.
Experience in delivering similar role within a fast-paced construction or consultancy environment and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of our ambitious people alike.
