Assistant Project Managerrequired for a highly reputable, long established Irish Residential Developer to work on a high-end apartments project in Mount Merrion, South Dublin.
Our client has a fantastic reputation, high staff retention levels and many of the senior management of the company joined the company at this level.
This project is unique being in the high end of the residential market but also not too small with 50+units.
Ideally we are looking for a Site Engineer with 2-5 years experience salary will reflect this.
Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure that foremen and operatives clearly understand the informationprovided.
Develop and maintain professional working relationships with work colleagues and Design Teams.
Review detailed design, critique and communicate with designers Coordinate the development of design from designers details to approved workshop drawings or technical information from subcontractors.
Ensure work is carried out to the highest of quality standards Follow direction as part of a team and attend meetings as required.
Ensure setting-out information is relevant and available in a format that can be easily communicated Manage and lead a team of engineers and sub-contractors.
Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
Management of subcontractors/general workforce on site.
Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure program targets are achieved.
Liaise with clients representatives/Design Team members as appropriate.
Ordering and control of materials on site.
Maintaining the site records and records of discussions/meetings with designers and subcontractors.
Maximise profit through your day-to-day actions: good self-management, accuracy in own work, elimination of re-work and contractual awareness.
Requirements Engineering or Construction Management Degree Qualified 2-5 years experience approx.
in site engineering role or similar.
Worked as a Senior Engineer previously Strong communication skills Ability to prioritise workload / excellent time management.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Some previous experience in similar capacity Strong IT skills Career minded, energetic and enthusiastic.
