Assistant Staff Officer (Grade IV) Microcredentials Reporting to: Head of Faculty of Business & Humanities Location:MTUCorkorKerry Duration: Fixed Term Whole-Time Contract to 30th June 2026 Funding/Project: TSAF OverviewoftheRole: Munster Technological University Cork, which incorporates the MTU Crawford College of Art and Design, MTU Cork School of Music, and the National Maritime College of Ireland, invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Assistant Staff Officer Grade IVto work on the Micro-credentials Work Package as part of the TSAF Project.
The person appointed to this position will be required to work on a daily basis supporting the broad range of activities on the TSAF Micro-credentials Project.
The location will be determined by the successful candidates current location.
Please note that the postholder may be required to be flexible to attend any of MTUs six campuses from time to time.

Thesuccessfulcandidatewillhaveminimumacademicqualificationsandexperienceas follows: Essential: Have obtained at least Grade D3 in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate Examination (higher, ordinary, applied, or vocational programmes) or equivalent or have passed an examination at the appropriate level within the QQI qualifications framework which can be assessed as being of a comparable to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent or higher orhave appropriate relevant experience which encompasses equivalent skills and expertise; Desirable: Agoodknowledgeandskillintheuseofinformationandcommunicationtechnologies is essential and to be able to work to deadlines from time to time.
