In this role you will: Act as the key account manager, developing client relationships based upon partnership and trustUse your business development skills to engage new clients as well as repeat projects with existing clientsOversee key strategic client projectsActively participate in the tender/bid process—from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reportingAnalyse tenders/bids to ensure client value for moneyAssist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including the handling of any claims to ensure the client gets best value from works undertakenCreate estimates and cost plans for key client developmentsOversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to your teamSupport nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communicationSupport the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparencyFoster top performance and growth for your employees via excellent mentorship and leadershipLead your team to deliver impeccable quality and client valueWe would love to hear from you if you: Have experience as a cost manager, ideally from a consultancy background, on large scale construction projects.Have experience and confidence to lead a business, build a team and develop trusted client relationships.Have experience in pre and post contract cost management, ideally in data center projects.Are chartered or are on the path to complete it.
