Walkers is currently seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Senior Associate to join its highly regarded and market-leading Finance & Capital Markets group in Dublin. Our award-winning Tier 1 practice is a recognised leader in its field, and you will join a dynamic, experienced, and growing team of high-performance lawyers. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work on a broad range of big-ticket, cross-border transactions representing blue chip clients located in Ireland as well as globally. You will work closely with our partners and fee earners in Ireland and overseas offices in advising clients on the full range of debt capital markets, finance, private credit, fund finance, securitisation, and structured finance transactions. Key Focus AreasDebt issuance programmes and private placementsDerivatives and risk transfer arrangementsFinanceFund financeGreen finance and ESG productsPrivate creditSecured and unsecured corporate debt issuance transactionsSecuritisations including ABS, CMBS, CLOs, RMBS, synthetic securitisationsSecurities law and regulatory considerationsStructured finance transactionsThe PersonWe are seeking qualified lawyers who are 5+ years post qualification and ideally have prior experience in finance, structured finance, or debt capital markets in a recognised practice or in-house. We are open to hearing from those currently practicing in Ireland or those interested in returning to Ireland. Additionally, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:
