We are currently recruiting for an Associate to join our Pensions and Incentives Group. The Group is renowned for delivering exceptional legal advice to clients across a wide range of sectors. This is a unique opportunity to join a collegiate team where you can expect to advise on a broad range of pension and incentive issues.
Candidates on a part-time basis will also be considered, depending on the level of post qualification experience.
Key Responsibilities:Drafting and updating pension scheme documentation.Drafting legal documents and negotiating on complex transactions with the chance of being involved in contentious work.Providing legal advice in relation to pension schemes from day-to-day benefit queries and member complaints to large scale restructuring projects.Advising on pension scheme mergers and reorganisations.Dealing with the pension's aspects of corporate finance transactions.Providing guidance to sponsoring employers, trustees and committees on compliance and interpretation of legislation and scheme rules.Advising on the establishment and amendment of several types of employee incentive plans.Experience, Knowledge & Skills:Trained and gained post qualification experience 2 years + at a firm well respected for work in pensions.A strong analytical ability.Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.Ability to exercise sound judgement and decision making.Proven organisational and prioritisation skills; the ability to manage a busy workload and meet client needs on a consistent basis.A high level of accuracy and attention to detail required.A strong interest in maintaining, developing, and sharing relevant legal knowledge.Education:Have an excellent academic background.Be qualified as a solicitor or barrister in Ireland or England/Wales.Applications:Please send your application to ****** accompanied by a full curriculum vitae.
