The Role We are looking for an Associate Technical Project Manager with strong Jira skills to join our team. This role focuses on Agile and Lean practices within a SAFe environment, with a key responsibility in supporting Program Increment (PI) Planning.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & ExecutionHelp define project scope, goals, and deliverables.Develop and track project plans.Coordinate activities and resources to ensure efficient progress.Support continuous improvement in project management.Jira ManagementAct as the Jira expert, providing support, configuration, and customization.Create and maintain Jira dashboards and workflows.Train the team on Jira best practices and SAFe methodologies.Analyze Jira data to recommend project improvements.PI Planning SupportPrepare for and assist in PI Planning events.Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure backlogs and priorities are clear.Facilitate PI Planning sessions and document outcomes.Monitor PI plan execution using Jira.Stakeholder CommunicationPrepare and deliver project status reports.Facilitate communication between teams and stakeholders.Address and escalate project-related issues as needed.Process ImprovementIdentify and implement process improvements using Lean tools.Participate in retrospectives to apply lessons learned.Risk & Issue ManagementIdentify and mitigate project risks and issues.Track and report on risks, issues, and change requests.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Project Management and SAFe certifications are good to have.4+ years in project management, preferably in a technical environment.Strong experience in Agile/Scrum and advanced Jira knowledge.Familiarity with SDLC processes.Analytical mindset for leveraging Jira data.Proficient in project management software and collaboration tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with Atlassian tools and Lean tools is a plus.Benefits: 25 days annual leave + 2 company daysHealth InsurancePension ContributionESOPTax saver schemeBike to work schemeSports and social activitiesGreat annual office outings (Summer BBQ, Christmas party, charity runs)Bits & Bobs days (Half day every quarter to get your Bits & Bobs done)Learning and Development OpportunitiesCubic Telecom is an equal opportunities employer and committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
