The Opportunity
Due to our continued growth and ambitious plans for further expansion in our Audit and Assurance Department, we are recruiting an Audit Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key client relationships to deliver a high-quality client experience, managing teamwork-plans and budgets and ensuring an excellent talent experience for our team of highly proficient professionals. There are excellent opportunities for career progression to Partner level within the RSM Audit and Assurance team.
As a senior member of the Audit and Assurance team, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
Leading a significant client portfolioLeading business winning initiatives, including identifying and cross selling business opportunities and leading tender processes to potential new business partnersProviding strong technical guidance to ensure the delivery of a quality audit and related advice to our clients within budget and to agreed timeframesLeading a team of professionals to ensure a high-quality talent experience for our staff and overseeing all associated management activitiesCoaching members of the team focusing on their technical, commercial and personal developmentManaging and monitoring the department key performance indicators on a periodic basisContributing to the strategic planning within the business unit and to firm wide initiativesThe Person
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with practice experience at a senior level within a Top 20 firmExperience in leading a team while simultaneously delivering multiple assignments to a diverse client-baseAbility to foster trusted relationships with our clients, combined with strong commercial expertiseExcellent technical knowledge and interpersonal skillsTeam player with strong communication and leadership skillsAbility to contribute to the overall growth and management of the audit and advisory business unit#RSM is an equal opportunity employer.
