Audit Inspector Remote

My client, a membership body, has a requirement for an Inspector for a new position.

This role can be fully remote in the Republic of Ireland.

Day to day tasks: Conducting monitoring visits to various firmsReviewing processes and methodologies in relation to practicing activitiesReviewing firms' compliance with the rules and regulationsCritical assessment of the work carried out by firmsReporting on the visit including findings and recommendations to the firmsAdding value by making recommendations to firms aimed at improving quality The ideal candidate will be: A member of a Recognised Accountancy Body with a minimum of 5 years' post qualification experience in a practice or regulatory environment;Knowledgeable in professional, technical, and ethical standards;Able to communicate effectively on sensitive matters with credibility at all levels;Experienced in report writing for technical and other professional audiences;Analytical and process-driven, capable of exercising judgment;Experienced in managing multiple deadlines;Willing to travel within the island of Ireland – full clean driver's license and car required.
