DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Qualified Senior to join our Audit Department.
As a key contributor to our ongoing business transformation, you will play a pivotal role in driving our ambitious growth strategy.
We are looking for an exceptional individual who is delivery-focused, customer-centric, and passionate about their work.
In this role you will be responsible for managing all stages of audits, from planning to completion, using the APT system.
You will supervise audit teams of up to three members, coordinate assignments, and act as the primary client contact during onsite fieldwork, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations.
Strong leadership, communication skills, and audit experience are essential.

Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all stages of external audits including planning, execution, and completionResponsible for the coordination and supervision of teams of up to 3 people on various audit assignmentsMain point of contact during onsite audit field with clients, managing client expectationsEffective communication with management and partner on progress and status of various auditsWork across a wide range of audit assignments and on multiple teamsTime management, work in progress management, delegation, initiative, excellent communication, and assertiveness are skills required for this levelAdhere to budgets and ensure deadlines are met Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)3 – 4 years working in AuditStrong technical knowledgeStrong attention to detailStrong communication skills and client service ethosAdaptable to changeProficient on MS Office (essential) and CaseWare (preferable)Good leadership and delegation skillsKnowledge of APT (advantageous) BenefitsCareer ProgressionAnnual Leave Purchase SchemeState of the art officeCentral locationTravel Green Allowance VoucherDigi DocAdoptive Leave IncreaseTogether Anywhere LeaveBDO Learning & Development programmeCoverage of professional subscriptionBDO is an equal opportunities employer
