The RoleThis role will be based in the Audit department in the Company's Dublin office and will report into the senior audit leadership team.
The main responsibilities include the following:
Complete audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, normally on site at client premises.Assist in planning and completing audit assignments, whilst ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation.Prepare statutory financial statements from client data and highlight high-level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager.Plan the execution and finalisation of the audit assignments for Partner/Manager review.Deliver the highest quality auditing services to our clients.Collaborate as part of a team to plan engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk.Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with your audit clients, ensuring they are informed and always satisfied, not just during the audit process but throughout the year.Research and solve technical queries from clients.Prepare and review financial statements in full compliance with Irish GAAP.Manage the successful completion of audit engagements.Act as an approved mentor to junior audit team members.The Ideal CandidateFully qualified in ACA or ACCA qualifications.At least 3 years' experience working in practice.A passion to provide the very best client experience.Excellent attention to detail and technical skills.Knowledge of business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.Strong verbal and written communication skills.An effective and motivated team player.Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.Self-starter who can critically analyse and assess information.
