Key Responsibilities: Utilise Esri ArcGIS and AutoCAD Map to create a wide range of property-related mapping.Produce legal mapping and provide related advisory services to internal and external professionals engaged by the Board.Review property title documents, define boundaries, and determine the location, property ownership, and third-party property interests.Liaise with Property Registration Authority officials regarding property registration matters.Manage property files and spatial data. Create, modify, maintain, and analyse geospatial databases for managing property ownership and resolving third-party queries and disputes concerning property boundaries.Prepare drawings, maps, and documentation for planning applications, Environmental Impact Statements, and maps or illustrations for special projects.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Essential: Proven experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, MapInfo, or other similar GIS packages.Ability to accurately present mapping and drawings to a professional standard.Desirable: Experience in preparing drawings to support property transactions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a logical approach to addressing challenges.Qualifications: Essential: Formal training with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, MapInfo, or other GIS packages.Desirable: Relevant qualifications in Surveying, Geomatics, or Engineering.A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.Full, clean driver's licence.Safe Pass certification.This job specification outlines a GIS & Property Mapping Specialist position with a focus on utilising GIS software for legal and property mapping, spatial data management, and property registration tasks.
