Automation Engineer

Purpose Our pharmaceutical client is expanding their digital capabilities on-site. They are looking for a candidate with with experience in industrial networks, PLC / SCADA, Electronic Batch Records (EBR). Responsibilities Project Management of Automation Systems: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of automation projects, including the design, development, and implementation of PLC-based control systems. This involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing timelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering projects within scope and budget. Troubleshooting and Debugging Control Systems: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and debug issues in automated systems, particularly those involving PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). This includes identifying root causes of malfunctions, implementing corrective actions, and optimizing system performance to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operation. Requirements BS/ MS degree in Industrial, Electrical, Automation engineering or equivalent. Experience in implementation at scale of industrial projects. Knowledge of PLC programming and data acquisition. Previous experience in computer system validation Skills: GMP PLC's Project Management
