Job Title: Business Systems Analyst Contract Type: 12-Month Daily Rate Contract Day Rate: €450 - €500 DOE Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid 2 days per week onsite) Client Sector: Pensions/Financial Eligibility: Candidates must hold an Irish/EU passport or possess a valid work visa to work in Ireland.
About the Role: Working within an Agile Scrum delivery methodology as part of a wider team.
Will take ownership of the design and implementation of new, automated business processes and assist the scrum team in delivering projects to schedule and budget.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable designs and high-quality builds.
Produce comprehensive documentation and articulate system functionality to business and IT teams.
Perform unit and functional testing to validate system designs.
Develop and maintain a solid understanding of financial accounting and reporting practices.
Analyze and design data integration for inbound/outbound integrations.
Participate in all phases of the solution delivery lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, training, and data conversion.
Scope, estimate, and manage work for large-scale projects.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex problems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, consultants, and IS teams.
Manage time and resources effectively to meet multiple project demands.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting practices.
Experience in financial services, ideally pensions sector.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.
Proven experience in scoping, estimating, and managing large projects.
Ability to document processes clearly and concisely.
Self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage global support needs.
Preferred Skills: Experience with data integration requirements and design.
Hands-on experience performing unit and functional testing.
Knowledge of the end-to-end solution delivery lifecycle, including analysis, design, and implementation.
Ability to explain system functionality to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
