Bakery Manager

Main purpose of the role:
Ensure the Bakery Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provides our customers with excellent quality products and services.
The ideal candidate will have/be: 2 years' experience in a Supervisor/Manager role is desirablePrevious food preparation and production experience2 years' experience as a BakerQualified baker is a distinct advantageMust be able to deliver a proven marginCreativeExcellent communication skillsAbility to engage with and prioritise customer needsStrong attention to detail, organised and flexibleAbility to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Main duties: Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and ImaginativeDrive sales through KPI reports, financial reports, brand initiatives, customer initiatives and employee knowledgeEnhance product knowledge by gaining information from a range of sources and share ideas, suggestions, builds on existing procedures/processes with employees and managementMerchandise and present the department to the highest standard at all timesAdhere to weekly stocktaking proceduresEnsure all staff reporting to you are competent in any duties required and are given adequate training relevant to their tasksAttend and engage in management meetings and bring learnings and builds back to the team.
