Barista/Front Of House Waiting Staff

Gourmet Food Parlour are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced /Front of House staff member with barista experience to become a part of our team at our Salthill Restaurant.
We are seeking an individual who eagerly anticipates each workday, is committed to team development, embraces brand growth, and welcomes challenges.
Qualifications, Abilities, and Skills Demonstrated work experience as a Barista/Floor Staff, with a minimum of 1-year experience.
Previous experience in a Front of House waiting staff role.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to excel in upselling.
Profound knowledge of food, allergen awareness, and menu details.
Proficiency in crafting various coffee types and hot beverages to meet high-quality standards.
Familiarity with coffee machine and grinder operation, as well as maintenance and cleaning.
Capable of preparing dessert plates and creating appealing displays.
Possess a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
Ability to maintain organization, stock, and cleanliness at bar and waitress stations.
Skilled in preparing and remembering cocktail recipes.
Comprehensive understanding of the entire menu offerings.
Capable of recommending options based on customer preferences.
Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
Respond promptly and courteously to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints.
Accurately manage cash and credit card payments following established procedures.
Adhere to relevant health and safety standards.
Ensure thorough cleaning of the bar and floor area, as well as all equipment, and reset and restock for the next shift as required.
Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Barista is essential.
Front of house waiting experience is essential A genuine passion for coffee and a commitment to upholding our high standards.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to cleanliness.
Basic math skills for cash transaction handling.
Awareness of health and safety regulations.
