Bartender - The Samuel Hotel We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bartender in the Samuel Hotel, based on a casual contract.
Objective of the Role Reporting to the Restaurant Supervisor and Manager, the Bartender will provide a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Support the Restaurant Supervisors andManagers withthe day-to-day operations in the restaurant.
Set lunch and dinner according to service standards and serve bar items to our guests.
Supporting the team to achieving targets.
Be welcoming, friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
Up-sell and maximize sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
Ensure a good working knowledge ofall types of beverages.
Be able to make recommendations.
Supervise beverages stocks and storages.
The ideal candidate would have/be: Available to work afternoon & evenings (latest shiftends at 02:00am).
Available to work from Monday to Sunday.
Strong interest and knowledge inbar beverages (cocktails, beers, etc...).
Previous bar experience in a 3/4-star hotel property (desired but not essential).
Previous experience in a busy food and beverage business or property.
Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
Micros Experience (would be preferable).
