Basic Grade Occupational Therapist

Job Purpose: The Occupational Therapist will have responsibility for provision of inpatient and outpatient (where applicable) Occupational Therapy Service.
This is a rotational position with rotations available in the following specialities:

· Care of the Older Person

· Orthopaedics

· Cardiology

· Neurology

· Respiratory

· Endocrinology

· Gastroenterology

· Nephrology

· Infectious Diseases

· Acute Medicine / Frailty Intervention Team (ED)

· Trauma

· Stroke

· Vascular and Surgery

· Hand Therapy

· Critical Care

There may be other services which are not detailed above as the OT service develops.

A Senior Occupational Therapist will provide regular supervision to the Staff Grade, including clinical & professional supervision and accountability.
