This role will report into the Procurement Manager.
Key Responsibilities Build and develop relationships with Farmer Suppliers, Producer Groups and Factory Personnel Organise weekly cattle processing plan with site management Conduct farm visits daily and purchase market ready livestock direct from farm only Liaise with our haulage team to ensure the delivery of livestock to our site in line with daily schedule Arrange and agree payment to farmers for all livestock on the day of supply Requirements Experience with livestock systems (cattle preferably) Familiarity with modern farming practices and regulatory matters Must hold full, clean driving license & have willingness to travel Proficient user of Microsoft Office Strong Work Ethic Ability to work on own initiative & meet targets Strong communication & negotiation skills Strong organisational and managerial ability Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Benefits What can we offer you?
