Accountant Recently Qualified This is a great opportunity for an recently qualified accountant to join a growing property development company in Sligo.
The desired candidate will have experience in preparing accounts, excellent IT and inter-personal skills and a pro-active can do attitude.
This is a key position within the Finance team and the candidate will gain excellent commercial experience supporting the FD and key members of the leadership team.
The company has ambitious targets and there are extensive development options for the right candidate over time.

The company is involved in projects throughout the various life cycle stages from conception right through to completion and handover.
We are strategically based on the west coast of Ireland and have an extensive pipeline of work in the commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, and residential sectors.
Responsibilities: ?
Preparation of period end management accounts including reporting and analysis ?
Post period end journals ?
Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations ?
Assist in creating a detailed audit file and support the year end audit process ?
Overseeing Banking, intercompany and sales reporting ?
Monthly reporting on projects ?
Contribute to the preparation of budgets and reconciliations ?
Ensure compliance with regulatory legislation for financial and tax reporting ?
Participate with ongoing development and review of accounting and cost management systems, internal controls, and processes ?
Contribute to other commercial & financial projects as required Requirements: ?
Qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
?
Proficient in Microsoft O?
?ice applications, advanced knowledge of Excel.
?
Experience of working with systems, preferably Xero & Live Costs.
?
Exceptional communication skills with the proven ability to liaise and direct across multiple departments.
The role will be o??ice-based.
Work hours will be Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 with a 1-hour lunch break.
Construction-related experience is preferred but not essential.
Flexible start date for the right candidate but ideally ASAP.
