Position Description We are seeking an experienced Benefits Programme Manager. As a key member of the Reward team, the Benefits Programme Manager will oversee the benefits function and spotlight ESB's benefits offering. As the functional lead, the Benefits Programme Manager is responsible for ensuring that our programs are market relevant and an attractive key component of our Total Rewards Package enabling ESB to attract, engage, reward, and retain the talent needed to deliver our strategic goals.
The Benefits Programme Manager will be instrumental in the centralisation, management, and optimisation of the benefits function to ensure the smooth operational delivery of multiple benefits programs. With a focus on the user experience, the benefits manager will have the ability to drive transformational change, process efficiency and enable automation throughout the user's full benefits journey at ESB from onboarding through to retirement.
The right candidate will have the ability to define the benefits roadmap, identify priorities and drive the delivery of a market relevant benefits offering based on our strategic benefits objectives & guiding principles.
Key Responsibilities Deliver strategic objectives: Execute on ESB's benefits strategy focusing on the overall positioning of our benefits in relation to our EVP & ESB brand and our broader Total Rewards Strategy. Ensuring that the benefits offering balances our core values, financial responsibility, affordability & competitiveness and our legal requirements in each of our jurisdictions.Stakeholder Management: Ability to proactively develop and manage relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. Key decision maker and a point of escalation for any benefits related issues. Actively engage with and listen to stakeholders at all levels and in all business units across ESB.Communication: Ability to independently create and deliver benefits proposals, create engaging content and communications for all Benefits related initiatives.Benchmarking & analysis: Ability to analyse both internal and external trends. Stay abreast of external market activity, proven ability to network and provide insights, identify gaps and recommendations based on competitor offerings. Ability to gather & analyse internal employee engagement survey results, gather employee sentiment through focus groups.Process efficiency & automation: Identify ways to streamline benefits administration & management and automate where possible to deliver a seamless user experience. Support with the implementation of a Total Rewards Technology solution.Benefits program management: Manage the day-to-day administration, and ongoing renewal of benefits programs. Assist with the centralisation of benefits programs at ESB.Vendor management: Management of external benefits providers, including relationship management, contract negotiations & new vendor onboarding.Experience and Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or other relevant discipline.Minimum of 10+ years' relevant experience.Change Management - ability to drive transformational change, navigate complexity and legacy benefits arrangements.Problem solving - proven ability to problem solve, navigate complexity, and resolve issues that can span multiple years of legacy arrangements.Benefits implementation – experience with implementation and management of benefits programmes previously, experience with UK benefits is desirable.Communication - highly effective communicator who is experienced presenting to all levels within the organisation.Data driven insights - strong analytical and organisational skills.Relationship management - highly developed stakeholder management skills with proven ability to work collaboratively and advise and influence across all levels.Location This position will be based in ESB's Head Office, 27 Lower Fitzwilliam St., Dublin 2.
