BER Accessor / BER Surveyor About Us Solay Energy Consultants is a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, specializing in renewable energy assessments and consulting services.

Role Overview We are seeking a meticulous and motivated BER Accessor to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in conducting comprehensive Building Energy Rates (BER) assessments to ensure compliance with energy performance standards.
This is a dynamic role that combines technical expertise with a commitment to sustainability and client satisfaction.
Key Requirements 3rd level Construction Related Degree.
(Essential) Driving license (required) Experience: Experience preferred in energy assessments but not essential as full training will be provided.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in BER software tools (e.g.
DEAP software) preferred but not essential Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Understanding of Irish Building Regulations and energy efficiency standards.
Personal Attributes: Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Passion for sustainability and renewable energy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed assessments of buildings to evaluate energy performance.
Prepare and submit accurate reports, including BER (Building Energy Rating) certificates, ensuring all data is compliant with SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) guidelines.
Advise clients on energy-saving measures and recommend sustainable solutions tailored to their needs.
Stay up-to-date with changes in Part L regulations and advancements in renewable energy technologies.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate seamless energy assessment processes.
Manage documentation, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely reporting.
