We are currently recruiting for a Bid Coordinator, the role is based within the tender unit and will support all company business units.
This is a hybrid role and offices available are Dublin, Galway and Cork.
About the Role: The role will include the preparation and editing of written content for bids and other projects such as technical reports, consultation materials and business development materials. As a team member, the successful candidates will prepare prequalification and tender submissions to a continuously high standard to tight deadlines.
The preferred candidates will work closely with senior management and technical experts across the business. They will be acting as Bid Coordinator on tenders across a range of disciplines including Transport, Water and Building Infrastructure, Environmental, Sustainability, Communications and Planning.
Responsibilities: Coordinating the preparation and production of bids;Working with colleagues in the tender unit and office tendering teams to develop systems to improve access to and production of tenders;Collating and inputting information into our bid database tools and systems;Developing tender ready materials for bid library to support bids;Preparing and maintaining guidance for employees on our bid process and writing;Training employees on bid coordination;Writing and editing content for tenders / marketing / business development materials.Key Skills & Attributes: Preparation and formatting of high quality bids, including graphics, for review.Excellent organisational skills;Excellent written and verbal communications skills;Knowledge of engineering, environmental and professional services business would be an advantage;Experience in preparing successful bids or proposals;The ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines;High level of attention to detail.Qualifications and Experience: A degree or equivalent practical experience: Engineering, Science, Arts, Marketing or Business Degree (Hons) qualified (Level 8) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a professional service environment;Knowledge of tendering and procurement an advantage;Knowledge/Qualifications in creative or persuasive writing an advantage.Why RPS for you?
