Bid, Pricing and Commercial Operations ManagerThis is a full-time role based with our Sales team in either London, Dublin, or Frankfurt.

To further our growth, we are looking for a Bid, Pricing and Commercial Operations Manager (m/w/d) for 40 hours per week to join our Sales team in either London, Dublin, Frankfurt or Braunschweig in Germany. *As a company headquartered in Germany, we adhere to the 'Third Gender Law'. About the roleAre you a strategic thinker with a passion for crafting winning bids and optimizing pricing strategies? We are seeking an experienced Bid and Pricing Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end bid process, develop competitive pricing models, and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure our proposals are compelling and profitable.

Your responsibilitiesBid management:Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process for complex B2B SaaS deals, ensuring timely and accurate submission of high-quality proposals.Collaborate with sales, technical, and product teams to develop compelling and customized proposals that address client needs and highlight the value proposition of our solutions.Co-ordinate and manage internal review processes to ensure all proposals meet company standards, compliance requirements, and client expectations.Maintain a library of bid templates, case studies, and relevant documentation to streamline the bid process and improve efficiency.Pricing strategy:Develop and implement pricing strategies for complex B2B SaaS deals, taking into consideration market trends, competitive analysis, and customer requirements.Work closely with sales and finance teams to create pricing models that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the marketplace.Analyze and provide insights on pricing trends, discounting practices, and deal profitability to inform future pricing strategies.Ensure pricing decisions align with overall business objectives and long-term growth strategies.Commercial operations:Oversee the commercial aspects of SaaS B2B deals, including contract negotiations, terms and conditions, and compliance with company policies.Collaborate with legal, finance, and sales teams to manage the approval process for non-standard terms and conditions.Monitor and report on key commercial metrics such as deal size, win/loss rates, and sales cycle length, providing insights to drive continuous improvement.Manage the sales order process, ensuring accurate and timely entry of deal information into CRM and other relevant systems.Process improvement:Continuously assess and refine bid, pricing, and commercial operations processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.Implement best practices and tools to streamline workflows and improve the effectiveness of the commercial operations function.Provide training and support to sales teams on bid management, pricing strategy, and commercial operations processes.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a SaaS or technology company.Proven track record in managing complex B2B sales bids, pricing strategies, and commercial operations.Strong understanding of SaaS business models, pricing structures, and go-to-market strategies.Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, legal, and product management.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids and pricing activities simultaneously.Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to develop and interpret complex pricing models.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Dynamics), pricing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.LocationPreferably in either London, Dublin, Frankfurt or Braunschweig, Germany.What's in it for you?Competitive compensation: We offer a competitive salary package commensurate with your skills and experience, recognizing the value you bring to the organization.Impactful role: As a Bid, Pricing and Commercial Operations Manager, you will have a direct influence on shaping the future of our business in a rapidly growing market, driving revenue and market share while making a tangible difference.Growth potential: With our ambitious expansion plans and a focus on sustainable growth, you will have ample opportunities to advance your career and broaden your skill set within a dynamic and innovative organization.Cutting-edge solutions: Skymetrix provides industry-leading airline fuel, cost, and crew management solutions, enabling you to work with cutting-edge technology and stay at the forefront of innovation in the aviation industry.Collaborative environment: You will join a diverse and highly collaborative team where ideas are encouraged, and your contributions will be valued.
