Bim Coordinator – Contract Role

BIM Coordinator A 12-month contract opportunity with our client, a leading EPCM company. The role is based at their offices in Dublin or Cork, with the flexibility of a hybrid work option.

Reporting to the BIM Section Head, the BIM Coordinator will support BIM workflows across our client's design teams as well as organizing and communicating BIM technical information to our project teams.

The BIM Coordinator is required to relay technology solutions to architecture, engineering, and construction professionals.

Responsibilities • Oversee technology-related tasks and activities within projects

• Engage in project-based BIM Strategy for projects

• Support the production of the project-based BIM Execution Plan

• Provide administration duties for Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform.

• Provide guidance on BIM production support to project teams, including project model setup, file export, model coordination and deliverables

• Conduct audits regularly on authoring models

• Integrate with design & construction and review trade contractor models, shop drawings, reality capture data and adapting design models for construction purposes as necessary

• Manage the clash process on projects

• Ensure that milestone models adhere to all internal and client specific standards as outlined in the BIM Execution Plan

Requirements • 3+ years BIM experience leveraging and managing technology in facility design and construction required

• Industry BIM Certification is a preference

• Experience of ACC administration duties an advantage

• Effective leader: articulate, diplomatic, ethical, and dedicated

• Experience with, and passionate about BIM, IPD, Lean, Collaboration

Working knowledge and proficiency with the following:

• BIM authoring platforms for facility design and construction (Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Plant3D etc.) or similar

• Knowledge of API tools preferred

• Collaboration and data management solutions like ProjectWise, ACC, Revizto, Navisworks

• Design and engineering automation tools like Dynamo

• Bluebeam and other markup and design review tools

• BIM-enabled quantity take-off and BIM-enabled estimating tools

• Knowledge/ experience in BIM usage in the building life cycle

• Experience in BIM model management, workflows in project delivery

• Experience providing BIM leadership and technical support to a project team
