Bioprocess Team Lead

Hobson Prior is seeking a Bioprocess Technical Lead. This role will oversee the technical parts of biotechnology manufacturing, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will lead technical development, technology transfer, and problem-solving activities to meet business goals.

Responsibilities: Serve as the main expert for biotechnology technical matters. Develop and manage the technical roadmap for biotechnology manufacturing. Oversee technical resources to support business strategies. Build relationships with external experts and suppliers. Manage technical relationships with external partners. Collaborate with the technical services team to align best practices. Coordinate and lead technical improvement projects. Ensure compliance with GMP, data integrity, and documentation practices. Ensure timely and compliant training for the team. Close GMP documentation issues promptly and accurately. Key Skills & Requirements: Strong knowledge of biotechnology DNA manufacturing. Ability to oversee health and safety in a dynamic environment. Leadership and coaching skills for developing technical teams. Effective risk management and organizational skills. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Experience in creating and implementing performance systems. Ability to lead a team and manage financial responsibilities. Ensure compliance and safety in operations.
