Role Profile: CREGG are seeking a detail-oriented QC Laboratory Technician to join the Quality Department.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality of incoming materials and outgoing products through rigorous inspections and testing procedures.
You will collaborate closely with the production team, driving quality improvements and maintaining compliance with established standards.
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct regular quality inspections of incoming materials and outgoing products according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Perform physical inspections of raw materials and ensure proper storage conditions.
Reject any materials that do not meet quality expectations and recommend improvements to production processes.
Assist in general product testing, including viscosity and analytical testing, while ensuring timely approval of test results.
Manage laboratory inventories and coordinate with external calibration service providers.
Participate in quality-related investigations and compliance activities such as IATF 16949.
Qualifications / Professional Skills / Knowledge: Degree required: Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
Proven experience: 1-4 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Skills or Qualifications: Strong understanding of laboratory practices and quality control processes.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
