We are looking for a BMS Engineer like you to join our rapidly growing ESG team and assist with optimising control and data collection from the building services in our current and future buildings. In this key role, you will be supporting a wide range of building control and energy efficiency projects and will be responsible for designing, redesigning, installing and maintaining (or overseeing the installation and maintenance of) building management systems (BMS) for our business. Key to this will be contractor engagement and management of BMS upgrade projects. You will also play a key part in the development of our centralised BMS for our growing portfolio of buildings. You will be required to travel to our various buildings across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.

Part of the role is to help foster a culture of energy management and efficiency within the company by working with key business stakeholders to support initiatives to reduce energy consumption and maximise efficiency.

What you can do for us Design and implement BMS solutions for new aparthotel developments and refits for existing properties. Ensure that BMS systems are installed and commissioned to meet project specifications and requirements. Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for installed BMS systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with BMS systems, and implement effective solutions. Work closely with other teams, such as architects, and electrical and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of BMS systems with the overall building design. Identify energy performance problems through current systems analysis and monitoring. Estimating and Cost Control on projects. Lead complex, technical projects, which are designed to achieve ambitious climate action targets and meet stakeholder needs in line with company requirement. Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems. Promote innovative problem-solving methods within the team, while being open to a wide range of technology solutions. Support the transformation of work practices, processes and procedures in support of the Group Strategy. Required Skills and Experience 3-5 years of experience in designing and installing BMS systems. Experience working in large-scale development (hotel or apartment development) is preferred. Extensive knowledge of BMS systems and relevant programming languages. Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Good practical experience in the building services environment. Developing and maintaining good relationships with industry networks and design team members relative to the team's activities. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes of practice. Knowledge of building and energy standards. Strong communication skills and fluency in verbal and written English are essential.
