THE COMPANY: Our client, established over 100 years ago, is a provider of specialist laboratory equipment and consumables.
There are well known in the industry for their unique products and solutions and have a multi-million turnover.
Their customers include all the large Blue-chip manufacturers such as Pfizer, J&J, Janssen, etc.
Due to continued growth and success, they are now looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their team, selling their full product range.
THE ROLE: As the successful account manager, you will be selling the full range of lab equipment and consumables in the Medical/Pharmaceutical/Manufacturing sectors.
You will interact with a variety of engineers, lab technicians, quality departments, procurement, etc.
The territory is flexible for the right candidate, however, ideally, they would like someone to cover Munster.
There is a big focus on Account Management in this role, and you will inherit a well-established client base.
You will be on the road 3-4 days per week and be in the Dublin office 1-2 days per month.
THE PERSON: To be considered for this Key Account Manager role, you must fit the criteria below: Third-level qualification is essential, in a Science/Engineering-based discipline.
Material Science experience is essential Laboratory Equipment/Consumables sales experience is highly desirable Experience selling to blue-chip pharmaceutical companies is a distinct advantage.
