We are delighted to announce an opportunity for a Clinical Facilitator and are are now inviting applications for the above post from suitably qualified and experienced candidates.
Candidate Criteria: Registered in the General Division of the register kept by Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland.
Must hold a BSc Nursing Degree.
A Masters Degree is highly desirable and would be a distinct advantage.
At least 5 years post registration experience in the clinical area of an acute General Hospital.
A good knowledge of the Irish Health Service, with particular reference to nurse education.
The purpose of this post will be to: Guide and support nurses and healthcare assistants in clinical practice.
Work as part of the Nurse Practice Development team to promote and maintain high standards of nursing care, quality improvement projects, research and policy development.
Promote and maintain a clinical learning environment.
The ideal candidate will require excellent communication skills, with a keen interest in education and the ability to enhance motivation.
