Bookkeeper

BOOKKEEPER - GALWAY My client, a Co. Galway based Accountancy Practice & Outsourcing organisation seeks to hire a new Bookkeeper to join their team. Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will be responsible for processing all bookkeeping duties for several client companies. This will suit either a qualified/part-qualified accounting technician or experienced bookkeeper. This is a permanent role, which has arisen due to the business doubling in size over the past two years, with further ongoing growth occurring daily. The position attracts a competitive remuneration package plus extra benefits including flexitime. To encourage greater work-life balance this role can be performed on a hybrid basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES ·Processing of books and records
·Familiar with payroll software, QBO/Xero/Dext
·Preparation of Vat Returns and RCT tax returns
·Payroll Administration – preparation of monthly/weekly payroll
·Generating invoices and account statements
·Accounts receivable, invoice and payment processing.
·Accounts payable, invoice processing and payment runs.
·P&L and Balance Sheet re-conciliations.
·Assist in Budgeting and Cashflow Management.
REQUIREMENTS ·Bookkeeping /Accounts experience – Desired
·Accounting Technician Qualification (Part/Full) – Desired
·Organised, efficient person with strong attention to detail.
·Excellent communicator
·Proficient working knowledge of all relevant accounting packages, such as QBO, SAGE, Xero, Dext an advantage.
