Job description We are seeking a Branch Manager (Showroom & Trade Counter) for a full-time position at our Harolds Cross branch Reporting to: Managing Director Role Duties Include: Communicate with all departments within the company (Sales, Warehouse, Finance, Accounts, Marketing, etc.)
to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Manage the purchasing and stock levels for our plumbing & heating trade counter and bathroom & tile showroom.
Build and maintain relationship with new and current customers as well as with our suppliers Create quotes and sales orders for customers & suppliers using our POS system Intact Assist in the planning and roll-out of special offers, events & sales initiatives.
Play an active role in improving the staff & customer experience.
Ensure showroom & warehouse are clean and tidy at all times Other ad hoc duties may be required as necessary.
Requirements Minimum 5 years retail/ trade sales experience Previous management experience a distinct advantage Expert knowledge of plumbing, heating systems & water systems and first and second fix plumbing practices.
Plumbing qualification/ extensive plumbing experience is a distinct advantage.
Team player who goes above and beyond to support their staff & improve the customer experience Outgoing personality that will help you connect with staff & customers Keen eye for bathroom & interior design Previous experience in a similar retail/trade environment is an advantage.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Previous experience with Intact an advantage.
Salaries are DOE, with flexibility offered for the right candidate.
