Job Description: We have an exciting opportunity for General Operatives, this role would suit anyone that has experience in the general construction field.
The role involves home energy upgrades, alterations and retrofitting (cavity wall, internal, external and attic insulation, airtightness, ventilation, heating and window and door replacements).
Ideal candidates will have a background/trade in construction and general site work and a keen interest in learning new skills.
Comprehensive training will be provided.
You can look forward to expanding your skills and knowledge.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with the retrofitting/installation of insulation services.
Work effectively within a team environment and independently as needed.
Follow instructions and implement tasks as required.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
Essential Skills: Ability to work with or lead a team.
Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.
Open to receiving and implementing instructions.
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Knowledge of building and retrofit practices.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong time management skills.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Qualifications and Experience: While no prior work experience is required, experience on building sites or in related fields is advantageous.
Requirements: Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
