HSE Mid-West are currently recruiting for the role of BSc.
GENERAL Pre Registration Nursing Student Location of the Post We are recruiting in the following services/specialties across HSE Mid-West Acute Services :

· Emergency Care

· Critical Care

· Cardiology

· Renal

· Paediatrics

· Oncology

· Endoscopy

· General Medicine

· General Surgery

· Orthopaedics

· Theatres

· Neonatal

There will be an option of a structured 12 month Graduate Programme that will offer various clinical pathways including the medical and surgical wards and specialist clinical environments.
The Graduate Programme will commence with a comprehensive Induction including mandatory training and clinical education sessions relevant to all graduates such as Wound Care, Pain Management.

A panel will be created.
Allocation will be dependent on approved funded positions, permanent deficits in an area/ department and in order of merit on the panel.

Purpose of the Post The BSc.
General Pre Registration Nursing Student will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practiced in the relevant care setting.
The BSc.
General Pre Registration Nursing Student will provide holistic, person centred care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for service users.
