Building Services (M&E) Coordinator

Role Profile Manage and support the Business Units' Building Services technical co-ordination, to ensure timely delivery of all technical output to client and stakeholder satisfaction. This role will be based in Dublin but will involve some travel throughout Ireland.

Duties and Responsibilities Ensure effective implementation of "right first time" technical delivery of project output. Review and report on activities of M+E sub-contractors in relation to technical, programme, build ability and commercial areas. Review weekly Progress Reports for Mechanical and Electrical sub-contractors. Chair Mechanical and Electrical technical co-ordination meetings and produce minutes in a timely manner. Ensure handover and commissioning programmes are in place on all projects and managed to achieve contract requirements. Ensure Quality control of M+E installed works, progressively clearing defects and supervising testing and commissioning. Liaise with and develop good working relationships with site managers / site personnel. Generate knowledge regarding all technical products including statutory and regulatory developments. Demonstrate on-site problem-solving skills. Coordinate technical submittals, samples, product selection etc. within programme requirements. Coordinate H&S of subcontractors. Qualifications and Experience BSc in Building Services Engineering. Ability and Knowledge of: Detailed knowledge of Statutory and Regulatory Procedures. Cleanrooms Building Services best practice. Detailed knowledge of Technical Systems and Procedures. Knowledge of standard forms of contract, including Design Build. Knowledge of estimating, procurement & payment terms. Knowledge of Technical Innovation and Value Creation. Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management. Ability to coach and develop people.
