About the role: A full-time Building Surveyor position is available in Charleville, County Cork.
The role involves working with Senior Surveyors to conduct inspections and surveys for residential and commercial clients across Ireland.
Key duties include preparing detailed reports, gathering information, and ensuring high building standards.
Strong communication, IT skills, and problem-solving experience are essential, along with the ability to manage workload and work well with others.
Requirements: * At least three years of relevant experience in building surveying or a related field.
* Relevant degree in Building Surveying, Property, Construction, or equivalent experience.
* Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technology.
* Familiar with construction and health & safety laws.
* Confident and articulate in client interactions, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
* Self-driven, organised, and a team player, able to manage tasks independently.
Responsibilities: * Create clear reports on time, meeting client needs.
* Experienced in residential and commercial construction with knowledge of Building, Fire, and Housing Regulations.
* Handle calls, emails, and technical inquiries from clients and other professionals.
* Act as a spokesperson in client meetings and industry events to showcase the company's expertise.
* Ensure timely delivery of comprehensive and client-focused reports.
* Maintain accurate records in compliance with company procedures.
* Check technical information to solve current problems.
