Senior Project Delivery Engineer (12 - 24 Months)

Location: Cork Role: Permanent Details:Large Utility Project.

Reporting to the project Engineering Manager, you will have responsibility for supporting the end-to-end planning and delivery of the project and delivering their respective workstream as issued by the Engineering Manager and PMO.

You will have the ability to work closely with other teams, supporting a wide range of technical engineering external suppliers and consultants, to drive the successful development and delivery of the project through design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the design, planning, and delivery of the project, including management of project budget, schedule, quality, and customer/stakeholder requirements, through Project Phases and Gates.

Responsible for coordinating with Engineering Manager and PMO regarding provision of all project status and KPI information (e.g. cost expenditure, cost forecast, and variance costs).
ExperienceDegree in Engineering & Project Management qualification with 6 years of experience managing the delivery of projects and programmes in utility/construction industries.

Knowledge of design management, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Working knowledge of project management.
Initial 3 years fixed-term contract with hybrid working, 35-hour week, 26 days holidays, Pension. Responsibility for the detailed design of capital and operational projects for price control (refurbishment, replacement, maintenance, upgrades) of pipeline.

Large Utility Company. Working in the Engineer Design Team, you will support the design process to drive an outsourced hybrid design model to flex design capacity to meet CAPEX, OPEX, and new projects timelines. Support the continuous improvement.
Large Utility Project. Reporting to the Project Director, you will have responsibility for managing and driving all technical engineering aspects of the project including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, safety, and environmental.
