Digital Business Analyst

The Digital BA will be responsible for eliciting and documenting business requirements as part of the wider Digital Product team who are building digital experiences to delight our customers and drive growth of our business.

The Digital BA will also be responsible for the day-to-day oversight and delivery for a Product team, delivering changes prioritised by the Product Owner, and ensuring the overall scope and technical requirements for assigned sprints are understood and implemented.

Essential to the role is an ability to understand business processes, gather requirements and translate them into Product-based delivery requirements that will allow the organisation to achieve its goals.

Working closely with a variety of stakeholders across Digital Product, Technology, the business, partners and suppliers, the role requires excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of product and agile delivery methodology.

In your role, you'll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here's a flavour of your day-to-day:Conduct interviews, workshops, review documentation and evaluate business processes to gather requirements and translate them into acceptance criteria for the Product team to work to.Work closely with Product Owners and cross-functional delivery teams to focus on value-driven delivery that supports innovation, optimisation, and maintenance of digital products.Be a champion for the Agile way of working. Ensure all standards and processes are followed and changes and improvements to increase the team's productivity are implemented.Work alongside Delivery Managers to identify and remove impediments and obstacles on behalf of your team, and to create and update various status and productivity reporting.Build and maintain a strong understanding of existing system and application landscape as a building block for future solutions.Support Product Owners to challenge business units on their assumptions to help deliver solutions for their current and future needs.Use data to inform decision-making and look for opportunities to optimise digital performance. What You'll Bring
Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:Minimum 3 years' practical experience in a Business Analysis role or business relationship management in a digital environment.Industry or functional expertise validated through experience working in ecommerce.An appropriate degree, equivalent qualification or experience.Strong experience with digital systems.Preferably a certification in Agile Product Ownership, Scaled Agile, Scrum Master or equivalent.
