What's the OpportunityDoneDeal.ie is Ireland's largest Agricultural and plant machinery site with over 200,000 monthly farming visitors buying from over 90% of Agricultural and machinery dealers in Ireland.
DoneDeal is where farmers do business.
Within DoneDeal, the Sales Team is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with professional motor and agricultural sellers.
We are now growing our team and recruiting a Business Development Manager in Agri to join our team and be responsible, as a valued team member, for expanding DoneDeal's leadership position within the Irish Agricultural industry.You will act as a point of contact connecting Agricultural dealers, OEMs, Distributors, and complementary Agri service brands to the hundreds of thousands of farmers on DoneDeal every month, promoting and growing advertising solutions.
You will coordinate with key business units within the company such as Product, Marketing, and strategy.The DoneDeal Sales Team was internationally recognised in 2022 and 2023 having won a Sales Enablement award and is the perfect team for someone pursuing personal growth and development.
The team will focus on growing DoneDeal's customer base of Ireland's premium agricultural industry players.What will I be doingYour duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Build deep relationships with key decision makers to increase and expand on revenue opportunities in:Agri & plant dealersNational distributorsInternational Agri brands & manufacturersAssociated animal health and complementary Agri servicesHelp shape the DoneDeal Agri narrative in conjunction with the marketing team.Contribute to the strategy and business development team to set a foundation for the future growth of DoneDeal within the agricultural space.Use existing relationships to get DoneDeal a seat at the table within the Agri business community, acting as a spokesperson within the industry representing DoneDealIdentify sales opportunities in both our existing client portfolio and through active prospecting, creating reliable forecasts and leading both short and long sales cyclesHit and exceed Business and Display sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basisHave an appetite to learn everything about our newest products and work with the Product and strategy team to develop new outstanding advertising solutions for the farming community.Be the lead go-to person for any and all classified & display matters related to your designated accounts.Listen to the needs of customers and the market and share insights with management, product and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities.Be willing to become an expert in CRM systems (Salesforce a bonus) and Pipeline management effectively and diligently leading your prospects and customer databasePlan campaigns and successfully develop client accounts creatively which are financially viable for both parties.Be proactive about resolving client problems relating to classified and display solutions & collaborate closely with group companies regarding dealer hub solutions.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and consistently exceed client expectations, ensuring that the client is receiving outstanding customer service.What skills and experience do I needAt least 3 years of proven sales experience, online sales highly beneficialA solid understanding of the agricultural machinery industry and well established relationships with senior members of the Irish agricultural community.Strong sales ability with a proven track record of hitting targetsExcellent communication skills along with the ability to collaborate with varied functionsAbility to craft and build a sales narrative with marketing teamsValidated experience in leading, developing and maintaining client relationshipsSelf-motivation and being liable to work on your own initiativeWhat's it like to work hereYou will have the opportunity to work with one of Ireland's fastest growing Internet companies.
