Join Red Sky Europe, a rapidly growing provider of fulfilment and VAT services for online retailers, as our Business Development Manager in Kilkenny City.About Red Sky Europe:Established in 2019, Red Sky Europe provides fulfilment and managed VAT services for online retailers selling in Europe.
We help businesses grow by taking care of all their eCommerce order fulfilment and EU VAT management needs from our EU-based fulfilment centre.Red Sky Europe has expanded its services with Taxmatic, an entity offering software solutions that automate VAT calculations, filings, and payments for North American eCommerce retailers in EU and UK markets.
Taxmatic seamlessly integrates with eCommerce platforms to access real-time sales order data.This is an exciting time to join our innovative team as we drive growth and expand our footprint across Europe.Your RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, building lasting relationships, and driving revenue.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Revenue Growth: Identify and engage potential clients through networking, cold calls, and strategic outreach.
Convert viable leads into business opportunities.Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones.
Develop sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.Market Research: Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
Analyse trends and gather insights to understand customer needs and the competitive landscape.Relationship Building: Establish strong connections with clients, partners, and industry leaders to foster collaboration and growth.
Negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnerships.Sales Support: Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations.
Provide support and guidance to other sales representatives to meet revenue targets.Performance Monitoring: Track metrics and provide regular updates to management, highlighting successes and opportunities. Skills and Attributes:Proactive problem-solver with strong business acumen, able to anticipate challenges and implement solutions.Confident communicator, skilled in conducting engaging demos, pitches, and building relationships.Results-driven, with a focus on surpassing targets and consistently achieving performance goals.Organised and detail-oriented, with strong CRM management skills and the ability to track and manage interactions effectively.Adaptable and versatile, eager to contribute to various business needs, including marketing activities.Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar business development or sales role, preferably within eCommerce, logistics, or VAT services.Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field/qualificationsExperience setting target and KPI's.Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and data analysis software.Demonstrated expertise in business-to-business (B2B) sales, including lead generation, closing and client relationship management.Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and identifying business opportunities.Solid understanding of eCommerce, online retail, and brand management.Experience speaking with and presenting to customers.Ability to develop and execute marketing and sales strategies effectively.Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and negotiating contracts.What We OfferCompetitive Salary: €70,000 + performance-based bonus.Flexible Benefits: 20 days annual leave (increasing with service) and company sick leave after probation.Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a 16:30 finish on Fridays.Growth Opportunities: Be part of a fast-paced, innovative company with room for professional development.Ready to Join Us?If you're ready to take your career to the next level and contribute to a thriving company, we want to hear from you!
