Business Development Manager – Materials Manufacturing Attractive Salary + Car/ Car Allowance + Uncapped Bonus Dublin/ Belfast Corridor Our client, one of the UK & Ireland's leading Materials Manufacturers, is currently in search of a Business Development Manager to build an existing territory of customer accounts, in the Dublin-Belfast corridor area.
The BDM will be responsible for the management of an account base in Ireland and the UK (ad hoc UK travel).
The customer base is diverse, spanning across many different industries such as industrial packaging, pharmaceuticals, FMCG and transport. The products are based around bespoke solutions, so a solutions-based seller will be ideal in this position.
The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing sales by developing strong relationships with customers, ensuring the business maintains its position as the primary supplier of products.
Your Role: In conjunction with the Commercial Director, develop and implement a robust sales plan for the division.Develop Key Account Plans for the top accounts and implement Joint Business Plans that are to be reviewed regularly.Working the territory in a targeted approach with regular visits to customers, efficient journey planning, presentation planning and reporting.Proactively seek out new business opportunities, including possible growth areas, emerging markets and industry trends.Managing the influx of orders from regular and new customers ensuring compliance is adhered to with the query to quote process.Monitor the divisional sales and category performance and report for weekly, monthly and quarterly events.Liaise with innovation department to communicate effectively customer requirements seeing through end-end delivery of projects.Work closely with Customer Services to make sure customer queries and complaints are closed out in a timely manner.Your Skills: Strong track record exceeding targets in a business development/ account management capacity, in an industrial B2B environment, with 5+ years sales experience.Experience of working with a CRM system and sales pipeline management.Growth mindset with the ability to work within a fast-paced role involving cross functional teams.Self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude and exceptional motivation that can communicate effectively with customers and team members.Excellent organisational and networking skills.Commercially savvy with the ability to challenge the business and have the confidence to prepare and present effective changes.IT literate, excellent MS office, with design software knowledge being a plus.Preferred experience of working within the packaging or materials industry.Ability to travel to meet account base in Ireland and UK (very limited UK travel expected).Package: Uncapped bonus.Fully expensed car/ car allowance.Laptop and phone.Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV to Marty Caskey at Abrivia.
