Please note this role will cover counties in the West/Northwest of Ireland.
Role Purpose Deliver and exceed agreed regional and territory sales, profit and margin targets across the (delivered, collect and online) Foodservice business.Develop the territory by managing a prospect list to secure new customersDrive growth through expanding the range that is currently being supplied to existing accounts.Maintain all accounts within Musgrave MarketPlace agreed credit terms.Manage all customer contracts within the territory, including managing pricing and range to maximise profitabilityMaintain Territory Management costs within allocated budgets, through good time management, resources management, and the most effective call pattern for each customer.Ensure excellent customer service through friendly, accurate field communication and good administration practices.Provide accurate and relevant information on competitor activity and other trade field information to the Regional Sales Manager.Ensure the correct product mix in each account thus ensuring maximum profitability.Ensure full co-operation via the Territory Telesales Developer, Regional General Managers, Regional Foodservice Floor Managers etc. to ensure maximum growth in your specific territory.Complete all administration as required including Journey plans, Daily Sales Reports, Record Cards and Prospect listsEducation & Experience Proven track record in proactive field sales and achieved targets.Understanding of the foodservice customerMargins / Reports / GeographyExperience/ knowledge in food industry or in direct foodservice sales (competitors/ range/ customers)Professional Selling skillsAdministration skills, planning and time management skills.Forwarding thinking with the ability to work on own initiative.Ability to change, adapt and be flexibleFull clean driving licenceLeaving Cert / GCSE.Musgrave is an equal opportunities employer.
